New Website Changes!

We really want to thank you, you as customers have helped us construct our website. We would never have been able to create it without your input and needs. This year we have a number of new and exciting changes to our website that have recently been finished. You will find our news letters archived, TV shows and video on Rainy Lake easily accessed, and a complete video tour of each model houseboat that we offer for rent.

This past summer we hired a team to come and digitally video tape our Minnitaki, Voyageur, Tamarac, Saginaw, Kempton Cruiser, Gold Rush Jacuzzi, Lady of the Lake, and Chairman II houseboats. If you click on the Houseboats & Rates button you will see a picture of each houseboat.  Below it you will see a smaller image and it says click on image for video, do it and you will have a real time tour of each houseboat model.

Last year we started our email newsletter the “Voyageurs Voice”. We will have four to six news letters per year. The articles cover a wide variety of topics concerning houseboating, Voyageurs National Park, fishing, birding, cooking, border crossing information, photography and other topics of interest.  All newsletters are archived on our website. Many of the articles will be of value to you in planning your houseboat trip to Rainy Lake. You may even request topics for future newsletters.

We are fortunate that many outdoor personalities have vacationed at Rainy Lake Houseboats. We have been able to load some of the shows on to our website and allow you to access them when ever you need a little dose of Rainy Lake! Just click on the videos button and select what you would like to see. We also can except your digital videos (on CD) and load them on our web site. Each year we add photo’s to our photo gallery. We often hear why is my picture not there? If you send them we will put them up, we’d love to! The same goes for your testimonials, if you send them we would love to post them for others to read. The Smedley family sent us a very special slide show (it was set to some of their favorite music, we have not received permission to use the music yet but are trying) featured on our home page!
