The Rainy Lake Houseboats Newsletter
December 2006
Greetings!
Hello and welcome to our first email newsletter! Whether you have never tried houseboating, do it every year, or just once in a while this newsletter will teach you everything you need to know about a Rainy Lake Houseboat vacation. Over time you will become a better angler, photographer, captain, trip planner and much more! Of course it will take more than one news letter to cover all of the topics, but our intent is to enlist your help to build our newsletter by asking questions, suggesting topics, and improvements in our comments section.
We hope that you enjoy this newsletter and look forward to sharing our thoughts about why houseboating on Rainy Lake is such a special experience!

Improve your fishing success!
Choosing the best lake for your fishing trip is the first step in improving your fishing success. One of the better destinations is Voyageurs National Park, a remarkable water based park located on the Minnesota-Ontario border. The major lakes are Rainy, Namakan, Sand Point, and Kabetogama. All of the lakes allow motorized boats without horsepower restrictions. The primary game fish species on all the major lakes are walleye, smallmouth bass, northern pike, crappie and muskie (on Rainy Lake).
